AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garin Candina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Briceño in the 9th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Velaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Briceño in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match, Karlus Waugh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Min Ordoña saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Garin Candina hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Min Ordoña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlus Waugh in the 19th minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elorri Palmer went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Velaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Samuel Horduña notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Briceño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demonde Jacobson was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Briceño in the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Samuel Horduña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. After the first half AFC Viola Gigliati were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Briceño made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 51st minute. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Reinaldo Briceño sent off a good shot on target. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Velaz in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Samuel Horduña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Min Ordoña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. AFC Viola Gigliati's Enrico Cicero was substituted for Garin Candina. Enrico Cicero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Barzana came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaldo Briceño went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Horduña got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Cicero in the 81st minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Frutos Sator reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demonde Jacobson. The goal made the score 0-6. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Viola Gigliati's Reinaldo Briceño. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Briceño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. AFC Viola Gigliati played a much better game than Jamaica and deserved their victory. The Jamaica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
