An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Colas in the 23rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Colas took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Munio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. In the 37th play minute Damian Su came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Pliego. 2-0. In the 40th minute Federico Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Erramun hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Erramun during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Luis Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Damian Su got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Damian Su made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Colas in the 59th minute of the match. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Javier Milei replaced Teodosio Bilintx. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emilio Munio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Acercate Y Patea de Lejos from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emilio Munio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Munio made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's corner Jose Gipuzkoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Emilio Munio in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Rowley came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Rowley, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Rowley in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Rowley in the 91st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Kraig Rowley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Acercate Y Patea de Lejos had won, even though Chile had held more of the ball.
