The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikolaj Trzemzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Trzemzalski. Fc Pawonków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Trzemzalski having to interfere. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Trzemzalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Pawonków's Mikolaj Trzemzalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 25th minute of play. Mikolaj Trzemzalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 30th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. After the first half Paraguay were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikolaj Trzemzalski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. 0-4 became the score in the 56th minute when Jaime Pardo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Trzemzalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Pardo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 65th playminute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 68th minute of play. Primitivo Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Trzemzalski made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Zbyszek Budrewicz's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszek Budrewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Sanz made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Pawonków's Wincent Kosel. Fc Pawonków's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Jaime Pardo scored to the left of an out of position Mikolaj Trzemzalski, making the score, 0-7. Mikolaj Trzemzalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 83rd minute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski was a little too slow when Jaime Pardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Trzemzalski saved Fc Pawonków from getting behind. Fc Pawonków's attentive Wincent Kosel managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Hector Covarrubias made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Trzemzalski. Fc Pawonków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9.
