Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Maximiliano Camara made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Luca Espinar struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rodrigo Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Rodrigo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 16th minute of play. Curcio Morales got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Maximiliano Camara. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Quique Bacete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Carro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Rodrigo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 34th minute of the match. The throw-in from Curcio Morales in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 48th match minute, VALPICA C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Camara to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Medero Nadal to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jerico March. After having played for 59 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Rienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Medero Nadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 74th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Jerico March mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VALPICA C.F. and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Jerico March hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Camara kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Camara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
