AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuz Riayet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corey Alonso in the 19th minute of play. Lucas Blöcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lucas Blöcker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 26 minutes, Ermegildo Oliverio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Oliverio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corey Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 31st minute of the match AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's corner Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Oliverio in the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Oliverio in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Ermegildo Oliverio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play.

Lucas Blöcker made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Oliverio in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Lucas Blöcker got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Lucas Blöcker however easily saved by the left post. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Benjy Benton was substituted for Corey Alonso. Lucas Blöcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Riayet in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjy Benton's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lucas Blöcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
