USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bermejo Club's Gogo Eufemio got a free kick in the 11th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Leandro Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Kiewit in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of play forced Bermejo Club's goalkeeper Leandro Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bermejo Club's Leandro Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play. Johan Kiewit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Edward Mcdonald was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 58 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Munio. Monty Rogers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Bermejo Club made a substitution. Honorio Nikola replaced Antônio Carlos Xavier. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Kiewit in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bermejo Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Leandro Munio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Munio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leandro Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Leandro Munio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorio Nikola took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Leandro Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, USA's Khalid Parry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Munio. Leandro Munio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
