Mike van Kampen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute. Mike van Kampen came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mike van Kampen to make any attempt to save it. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mike van Kampen came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike van Kampen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Mike van Kampen managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mike van Kampen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Mike van Kampen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that 俞岩寒's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Mike van Kampen made a huge save. With a little luck, Bangladesh CF's Mike van Kampen got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game 俞岩寒 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mike van Kampen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 俞岩寒 to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Mike van Kampen. Bangladesh CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mike van Kampen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 56th minute of play. Mike van Kampen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mike van Kampen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mike van Kampen. 67 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike van Kampen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Chile booed when Bangladesh CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doug Harrington didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bangladesh CF's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike van Kampen came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 俞岩寒 in the 78th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 俞悦锋 came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Johannes Teunis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johannes Teunis really showed his touch with that goal: 7-1. Bangladesh CF made a substitution. Radomil Sobczak replaced 俞悦锋. After some careless play in the Bangladesh CF defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike van Kampen. The Bangladesh CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike van Kampen should have stopped the shot. Mike van Kampen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chile fully deserved thier win.
