CSD Pte Derqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vladimiro Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 51st minute of play forced CSD Pte Derqui's goalkeeper Vladimiro Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSD Pte Derqui the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Rigoberto Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Azevedo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Vladimiro Leão in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CSD Pte Derqui's Mao Yuan Hong was substituted for Isaias Leobardo. When CSD Pte Derqui's Angelo Demesio in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mao Yuan Hong in the 90th minute of the match.
