Sebastián Saja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Kisielka. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Sebastián Saja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Kisielka went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off.
