Antonio Giorgio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Pepillo Servin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute of the match, Ignatius Abancens tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonso Villamarin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Bayern Boliviano's Alfonso Villamarin threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignatius Abancens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriol Loyola in the 18th minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Villamarin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Håkan Rudkvist sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Iztal got free with Alfonso Villamarin in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Rudkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Alfonso Villamarin made a huge save. Pepillo Servin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Giorgio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatius Abancens in the 35th minute of play. Antonio Giorgio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepillo Servin in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bayern Boliviano's Venceslao Abarca got a free kick in the 40th minute. Pepillo Servin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Giorgio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Iztal made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cooper Schurter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfonso Villamarin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Ignatius Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Villamarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Pepillo Servin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Giorgio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepillo Servin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 82nd minute, Bogdan Wolczewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leones FC's García Galego was substituted for Jeremy Lambarida. 90 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloisio Munet. Antonio Giorgio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Loyola in the 93rd minute of the match. Leones FC made a substitution.
