Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Cezar Zubaşcu sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mohammed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Palestino فلسطين's Jorge Mohammed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rocky Dejardin sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jorge Mohammed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Skrzypiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Club Palestino فلسطين's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jorge Mohammed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Dejardin in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Hugo Makaus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jorge Mohammed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Froilan Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club Palestino فلسطين's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Mohammed came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Club Palestino فلسطين players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Club Palestino فلسطين's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Mohammed despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play forced Club Palestino فلسطين's goalkeeper Jorge Mohammed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Club Palestino فلسطين was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Bertran to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Mohammed made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocky Dejardin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jorge Mohammed made a huge save. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Mohammed in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jorge Mohammed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Cezar Zubaşcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezar Zubaşcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 89 minutes into the match, Club Palestino فلسطين's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Jorge Mohammed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Rocky Dejardin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
