Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelino Abancens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Cristaldo in the 19th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kristopher Eyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Abancens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Peru booed when Club Atlétic Incles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Winograd didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by 徐宇荣 in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 45th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinu Pelin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Club Atlétic Incles's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Angelino Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 52 minutes, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlétic Incles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Angelino Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Pelin in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Abancens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Kristopher Eyre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Dinu Pelin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Angelino Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 91st minute. Angelino Abancens came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
