In the 17th minute, Axel Tasis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hugo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Fc Pawonków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Grocholski to maneuver through the defense. Mikolaj Trzemzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teobald Debkowski in the 58 minute of the game. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mikolaj Trzemzalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucjan Jajecznica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikolaj Trzemzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
