Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) SESI UNITED's 邱永志 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glauco Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Moises Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that 邱永志's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that SESI UNITED's Betinho Moura managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tincho Palermo in the 85th minute of play. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
