Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Julian Murillo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Graziano made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carter Monticelli immediately put the ball in play. In the 6th minute, Peru's Joaquin Prats seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joaquin Prats the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peru protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joaquin Prats had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! Rolando Noboa had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Vinicio Bermudo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vinicio Bermudo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Vinicio Bermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Guararapes's Ragıp Işık sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Bermudo got free with Rolando Noboa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Carter Monticelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Ragıp Işık left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guararapes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Vinicio Bermudo could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Claudio Graziano fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guararapes's protests and gave Claudio Graziano a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Bermudo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Guararapes's Ragıp Işık sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ragıp Işık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno do Nascimento in the 61st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Peru's Romeu Guedes threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes in the game Vinicio Bermudo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tenorio Urrue. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tenorio Urrue in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Francisco Rencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Guararapes booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Guararapes could leave the field as winners, despite Peru having more of the ball for most of the match.
