Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Saúl Zambujal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saúl Zambujal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saúl Zambujal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Mota hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Saúl Zambujal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 44th minute of play. When Sebastian Villa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Sebastian Villa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of G. D. PENICHE V2 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Alberto Pimenta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Alberto Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karol Tylinski, made in the 59th minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Saúl Zambujal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute of the game Karol Tylinski made a throw-in which Stalin Steckamp played forward. Saúl Zambujal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tato Orihuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Karol Tylinski made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stalin Steckamp immediately put the ball in play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by G. D. PENICHE V2's Alberto Mota. But to his dismay, Alberto Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tato Orihuela in the 85th minute of play. Saúl Zambujal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Mota in the 89th minute of play. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stalin Steckamp in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Cresenciano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
