Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Barrett in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Kendrick Schumacher got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Malcom Payton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jules Barrett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Azzurri FC's Hando Festini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Azzurri FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kendrick Schumacher came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Venezuela and the Azzurri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Barrett in the 67th minute of the match. Kendrick Schumacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kendrick Schumacher in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Carlos Tello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
