Andres Leheren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Wolves FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edgardo Gervaso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dionisio Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Oto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st match minute, Wolves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Macario to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Leheren. Wolves FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Andres Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Umbruso in the 33rd minute of play. When Esteban Macario fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolves FC's protests and gave Esteban Macario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Esteban Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Andres Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Nicodim Colceriu made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Nicodim Colceriu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicodim Colceriu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Alguacil in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Leheren saved Wolves FC from getting behind. In the 75th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves FC's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Leheren came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dionisio Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicodim Colceriu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves FC's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Leheren came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jāzeps Sarzāns hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Andres Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Leheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wolves FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
