Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of O MOTIVO ⚽'s Wágner Mota. Wágner Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes, Celsinho Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O MOTIVO ⚽ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes O MOTIVO ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Magalhães. In the 12th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Mota. O MOTIVO ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Mota. O MOTIVO ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Bernardo de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Mota. Wágner Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After having played for 30 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Christian Braga got a free kick in the 32nd minute. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Wágner Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Cássio Furtado's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo de Salles made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Wágner Mota. 64 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wágner Mota. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Wágner Mota managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Mota. Wágner Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the O MOTIVO ⚽ defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Mota. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Mota should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Cristian Sancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wágner Mota. That made the score 0-10 after 93 minutes of play.
