The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Urbano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Tage Löfgren got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The LA VIOLA fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when LA VIOLA's Abidin Onar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Rutledge came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Abidin Onar made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter was substituted for Abidin Onar. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mark Kielberg hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sérgio Urbano in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Urbano. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Osvald Uter kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Mark Kielberg notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Rutledge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Osvald Uter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LA VIOLA had won after a very even match.
