Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Los Colegas del Barrio's Paulo Victor got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Colegas del Barrio's Paulo Victor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Paulo Victor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Paulo Victor managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 10 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Victor made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Paulo Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Mexico booed when Los Colegas del Barrio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Nunez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Victor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordarin Silva's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordarin Silva helped the player get up and apologised. Cordarin Silva hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 played minutes Los Colegas del Barrio got a freekick which was hit by Pelayo Vazquez. After 31 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Victor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paulo Victor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Colegas del Barrio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Victor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Victor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Colegas del Barrio's Paulo Victor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of play. Los Colegas del Barrio's Bitxintxo Etxeberria was substituted for Olaf Iniesta. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Colegas del Barrio's Paulo Victor did a great save. 68 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Paulo Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Garry Mason kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 69 minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Macos Graciani fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Victor quite easily take care of the ball. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garry Mason. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Victor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, one of Los Colegas del Barrio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Colegas del Barrio's Paulo Victor. 2-1. After having played for 90 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Los Colegas del Barrio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximun De la Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Mexico's Joel Gaona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
