Edward Mcdonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 15th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Adriano Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Capixaba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cassius Byrne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Capixaba should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Cassius Byrne sped through Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Capixaba. Adriano Capixaba came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 44th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Adriano Capixaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 54 in the game by Cassius Byrne from a close distance when the talented Adriano Capixaba managed to make a qualified save. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's players were relieved. With splendid footwork Cassius Byrne arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-11 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Diego Bradley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 59th minute of the match. Adriano Capixaba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, USA's Sam Campbell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Sam Campbell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Adriano Capixaba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Adriano Capixaba made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Sam Campbells short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Adriano Capixaba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adriano Capixaba didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when USA's Sam Campbell shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-17 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Sam Campbell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Capixaba. That made the score 0-18 after 86 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ defense, Sam Campbell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Capixaba. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Capixaba should have stopped the shot. Adriano Capixaba was a little too slow when Sam Campbell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-20. Sam Campbell scored 0-21 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adriano Capixaba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
