Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafim Eanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute of the match, Axel Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serafim Eanes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Serafim Eanes made a huge save. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Sha Yang in the 27th minute of play. Peng Sha Yang took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. In the 39th minute Peng Sha Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Sha Yang came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Lucio Garoa got a free kick in the 44th minute. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Serafim Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Serafim Eanes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 58th minute, one of Dionisia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dionisia. In the 60th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 64th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Santino Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Eanes was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Santino Seco sped through Dionisia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafim Eanes. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Dionisia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Orlando Tafalla drilling the ball in to score 3-2 behind Dionisia's goalkeeper. Orlando Tafalla made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dionisia's German Naelio. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaldo Beturian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 79 minute of play. Abram Secada hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dionisia's attentive German Naelio managed to snatch the ball when Luis Cazalla made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Arnaldo Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. After 91 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cazalla. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Beturian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 3-5. The Dionisia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dionisia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
