Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 14th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Gumisie Rybnik's Tobiasz Blicharz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Borys Banach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Gumisie Rybnik's Tobiasz Blicharz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miromir Pazura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Borys Banach put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Banach in the 38th minute of the match. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After the first half Gumisie Rybnik were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tobiasz Blicharz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gumisie Rybnik's Miromir Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gumisie Rybnik's Igor Starogardzki was substituted for Ksawery Pilarczyk. In the 65th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Edward Sliwinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gumisie Rybnik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Sliwinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Starogardzki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Borys Banach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Banach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Borys Banach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Borys Banach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Biegun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gumisie Rybnik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Gumisie Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Biegun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Banach in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Gumisie Rybnik could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
