Aykan İsmet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Macák, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 9 minutes FC Gladiators Milošová's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Aykan İsmet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Arias in the 10th minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Ibrahim Hanif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aykan İsmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykan İsmet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan İsmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aykan İsmet was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. A collision led to FC Gladiators Milošová getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anselmo Fioriti hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Aykan İsmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Gladiators Milošová's Aykan İsmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Gladiators Milošová's Konrad Bronkala got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan İsmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Aykan İsmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Vinny Tusk tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vinny Tusk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aykan İsmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ibrahim Hanif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 66 played minutes FC Gladiators Milošová got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Markovič. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Vinny Tusk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Gladiators Milošová's Aykan İsmet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gladiators Milošová from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykan İsmet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aykan İsmet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes, Ľubomír Macák mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gladiators Milošová and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes FC Gladiators Milošová got a freekick which was hit by Ľubomír Macák. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Gladiators Milošová booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's Juraj Šesták sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Vinny Tusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aykan İsmet could save by the left post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
