Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when János Holzhauser came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game János Holzhauser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, János Gere threw the ball into play from the sideline. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Miklós Fehér kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Villa charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Villa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Edelényi's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Edelényi helped the player get up and apologised. János Gere lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 18 minutes into the game, one of FC Budapest:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, János Holzhauser threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when János Holzhauser made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Bálint Hellinger. FC Budapest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bálint Hellinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Budapest were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Félix Kis took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Budapest's corner Félix Kis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. Bálint Hellinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, János Holzhauser threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute, Miklós Fehér got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Miklós Fehér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miklós Fehér stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Róbert Kállai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. János Holzhauser made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by János Holzhauser, made in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, FC Budapest's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bálint Hellinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by János Holzhauser in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
