In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Gitano in the 15th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Jakue in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 23 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Romeo Micael in the 30 minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Abel. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 44th minute, Pastor Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan Barbarin in the 60th minute of the match. When CeciForEver's Omar Jakue in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Basajaun having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronan Barbarin in the 84th minute of play. Fermin Basajaun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 90 minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when CeciForEver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. CeciForEver were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
