Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Basajaun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 21st minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Fermin Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Inautzi got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Pastor Abel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Pastor Abel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by CeciForEver's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Juan Sebastián Puig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Omar Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Omar Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CeciForEver's Fermin Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. Omar Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, CeciForEver's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Fermin Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Inautzi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, CeciForEver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Playo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Inautzi got free with Julio Vera in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Omar Jakue made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Barbarin in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fermin Basajaun. Fermin Basajaun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan Barbarin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CeciForEver's Fermin Basajaun got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match CeciForEver got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Micael ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Ronan Barbarin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Basajaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Jon in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CeciForEver's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a CeciForEver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. In the 82nd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fermin Basajaun. Fermin Basajaun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Inautzi in the 89th minute of play. Fermin Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Fermin Basajaun made a huge save.
