An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lebas in the 33rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of the match. Julian Murillo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 37th playminute. 47 minutes in the game Emmanuel Reyes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Milagros Fraga.
