The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christopher Le Menn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Chantereau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alexis Cantet came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Los Feroces fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Cantet couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. Christopher Le Menn made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mario Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Nolan Desmaris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Feroces's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. A collision led to Los Feroces getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nolan Desmaris hit a great ball. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Christopher Le Menn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Le Menn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthieu Dupret during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
