Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Juventudes Libertárias's Alexsandro Simão quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ritvaldis Rau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Agostinho Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Agostinho Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Agostinho Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Almeidas short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lúcio da Silveira made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rubinho Loureiro immediately put the ball in play. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilson Meirelles. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ritvaldis Rau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 68 minutes into the game, Rubinho Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventudes Libertárias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Juventudes Libertárias! The audience was convinced that Agostinho Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Almeida in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Juventudes Libertárias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mauro Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Agostinho Almeida almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Almeida came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Agostinho Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Agostinho Almeida sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When the referee ended the match the Juventudes Libertárias players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
