Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Laurentzi in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the match, Paulo Laurentzi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Paulo Laurentzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 16th match minute, Criciúma Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Antoniano having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Laurentzi in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Paulo Laurentzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 29 played minutes Criciúma Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Laurentzi. 31 minutes into the match, Bieito Villaurreta notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Criciúma Esporte Clube booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bieito Villaurreta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bieito Villaurreta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Laurentzi in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bieito Villaurreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Criciúma Esporte Clube's Usub Raha. 71 minutes into the match, Bieito Villaurreta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bieito Villaurreta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Criciúma Esporte Clube's Bieito Villaurreta. But to his dismay, Bieito Villaurreta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match Criciúma Esporte Clube got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Laurentzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Evelio Antoniano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Criciúma Esporte Clube a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Laurentzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 10-0. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
