Higinio Sansone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Macerio came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Macerio scored 2-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nina fc made a substitution. Beppe Mercuri replaced Stelian Nandriș. In the 79th minute, Fulgencio Romildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nina fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Higinio Sansone in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Peru's Julian Murillo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After 95 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. Baldomiro Azibar's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th match minute, Nina fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Azibar to maneuver through the defense. The Nina fc players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
