Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Venezuela booed when Lake Junaluska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Irvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Darron Messer could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. In the 7th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Carro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darron Messer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Joel Pollard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Hilario Carro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hilario Carro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Keenan Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lake Junaluska FC's Keenan Blake was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Lake Junaluska FC's Keenan Blake dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Junaluska FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Carro came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keenan Blake got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Carro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keenan Blake was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Carro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Lake Junaluska FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lake Junaluska FC's Cyrus Hamlin was substituted for Jonathon Frost. Hilario Carro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Keenan Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lake Junaluska FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
