Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. When Mazinho Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FCF north fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Alcântara couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Xie Yan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, FCF north's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xie Yan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arcan Çapan got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCF north the free kick. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Chris Tinselboer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The wind increased when Xie Yan made the kick off in the second half. Chris Tinselboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 51st minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chris Tinselboer skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCF north's goalkeeper Chris Tinselboer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, FCF north's Xie Yan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Steelman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 91st match minute, FCF north was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nick Schipmans to maneuver through the defense. Nick Schipmans charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nick Schipmans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, FCF north was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nick Schipmans to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that FCF north were the better team. FCF north's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
