After some careless play in the FC Dwa Do Ósmej defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Lerych. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Lerych should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Lerych prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franciszek Lerych came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Franciszek Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute of play. Franciszek Lerych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of the match. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Fotis Katramados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franciszek Lerych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 30th minute of the match. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Katramados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franciszek Lerych stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Mcdonald's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Franciszek Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honesto Cuetos was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dwa Do Ósmej's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Karl-Ove Hägert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Katramados stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franciszek Lerych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. With a little luck, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Franciszek Lerych got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franciszek Lerych made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Fotis Katramados hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of USA booed when FC Dwa Do Ósmej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Katramados didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franciszek Lerych, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jenson Smith in the 87th minute. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Solibieda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Dwa Do Ósmej throughout the match.
