Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudio Quiroga got the match started through his kick off. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnny Nyström was slow to take the kick. During this time Monitor Huáscar's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Johnny Nyström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Apostol Sokolov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Claudio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apostol Sokolov was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Claudio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Quiroga got free with Marco Day in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Claudio Quirogas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Marco Day to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Monitor Huáscar defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apostol Sokolov. The Monitor Huáscar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apostol Sokolov should have stopped the shot. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 32nd minute of play. Cassius Byrne spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Monitor Huáscar's goal. 42 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 46th minute, Nazario Victorica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Apostol Sokolov in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Galván kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Nazario Arechavala replaced Johnny Nyström. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carlos Galván hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apostol Sokolov made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Nazario Arechavala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monitor Huáscar's goalie prevented a goal. Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After 70 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Sam Campbell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 73 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Apostol Sokolov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 76th minute. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Arechavala got a free kick in the 78th minute. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Monitor Huáscar from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 87th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Apostol Sokolov made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute of the match USA got a corner. Monitor Huáscar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Monitor Huáscar were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
