Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria's Liu Yuan Cheng. But to his dismay, Liu Yuan Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fredrik Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Emanuel Avellino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Avellino took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, Liu Yuan Cheng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liu Yuan Cheng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Avellino went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When Victoria's Emanuel Avellino in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Avellino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Victoria's Emanuel Avellino got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephan Blanco took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Avellino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Avellino made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Avellino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Victoria booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Liu Yuan Cheng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Stephan Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Stephan Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Flask's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 69th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Victoria booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Hylander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. After 80 minutes of play, Victoria's Liu Yuan Cheng made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Fredrik Hylander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-12. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Victoria booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball.
