Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abi Russo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Jaizki Valverde made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. After 8 minutes of play, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the game, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aysouraguán's Rufino Castelao managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 17 minute of the game. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Aysouraguán's Rufino Castelao quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 21st minute of the game. Cristo Gabas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Abi Russo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Jaizki Valverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Aysouraguán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abi Russo to maneuver through the defense. Abi Russo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aysouraguán's Jesús Casado. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aysouraguán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaizki Valverde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 59 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Aysouraguán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Abi Russo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 77 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Aysouraguán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 77th minute. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Abi Russo scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-4. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abi Russo in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Abi Russo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Moruga got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 90th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aysouraguán played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
