Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Walme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 44th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Dog F.C.'s Kilian Mbappè. But to his dismay, Kilian Mbappè quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
