In the 12th match minute, Seleção de Aleijados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Matias to maneuver through the defense. Seleção de Aleijados's Flávio Regueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. Flávio Regueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flávio Regueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio Regueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Seleção de Aleijados's Flávio Regueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flávio Regueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of the match. The Seleção de Aleijados players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Flávio Regueira was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Seleção de Aleijados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Seleção de Aleijados got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Matias. In the 62nd match minute, Seleção de Aleijados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Sacramento to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Borba during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Seleção de Aleijados getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rodolfo Borba hit a great ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seleção de Aleijados.
