The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ekelund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. In the 8thth minute of the game Sebastian Ekelund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Sebastian Ekelund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Ekelund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ekelund in the 25th minute of play. The MZetowe Mastodonty fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when MZetowe Mastodonty's Sebastian Ekelund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Ekelund's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. With an all-out effort, MZetowe Mastodonty's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roch Haszczak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Ekelund made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Sebastian Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hudson de Carvalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 54thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hudson de Carvalho would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Hudson de Carvalho in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hudson de Carvalho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, MZetowe Mastodonty's Sebastian Ekelund got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hudson de Carvalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 64 minute of play. Primitivo Andino made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Haszczak in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Ekelund in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Sebastian Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save MZetowe Mastodonty from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Ekelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, MZetowe Mastodonty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Ponc to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hudson de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Roch Haszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.
