Sermet Tacal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Fabrício Jardel might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Jardel ran back to his position shaking his head. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sermet Tacal went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sermet Tacal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sermet Tacal in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Tacal in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alan das Neves hit a great ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Sermet Tacal scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. After 36 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Fabrício Jardel took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Telmo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Sermet Tacal made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fabrício Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Jardel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Sermet Tacal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal. But to his dismay, Sermet Tacal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrício Jardel went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lupere FC - DMZ had won after a very even match.
