Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gervasio Vela kicked off to start the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Hernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Gervasio Vela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erubiel Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Hernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Departamento 912 got a freekick which was hit by Jannes Van Dessel. In the 23rd minute of the match Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Hernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erubiel Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. Departamento 912's attentive Bernhard Ocariz managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernhard Ocariz, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Departamento 912's Erubiel Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. When Julian Murillo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Erubiel Hernandez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Departamento 912's Bernhard Ocariz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 38th minute of the game. The throw-in from Moises Gayoso in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Departamento 912's Marcial Mon. Bernhard Ocariz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
