The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Jonas Prestes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Escribanos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Jonas Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 26 minutes, Dawid Laskowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue Masters and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dawid Laskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jonas Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 28th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Prestes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Jaime Cazalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Beniamin Filanowski hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The Blue Masters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Prestes should have stopped the shot.
