Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The tension between the KF KORCA and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored KF KORCA's protests and gave Mentor Zazane a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KF KORCA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mentor Zazane hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
