Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Noel Marinho in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 20 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Álvaro Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liboslav Krušina in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Liboslav Krušina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 29 minutes, Noel Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SLB TELHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Noel Marinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's Bento Ribeiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Álvaro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Noel Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Noel Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 41st minute of the match. Tiago Rebocho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Garcia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Marinho in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. SLB TELHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Venegas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Álvaro Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Marinho in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
