The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silas Hørkilde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Thorleif Mejnert in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Raul Venegas. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Lucas Ellergaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Hørkilde in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Silas Hørkilde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrad Harder kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Silas Hørkilde might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silas Hørkilde ran back to his position shaking his head. Silas Hørkilde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Paraguay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
