After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Garcia came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tiago Rebocho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Ribas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Álvaro Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia did a great save. When Noel Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the SLB TELHA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Marinho couldn't finish the play. Noel Marinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Luís Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Ribas to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Andino made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's Noel Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Álvaro Garcia threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Álvaro Garcia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Álvaro Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match Adolfo Caires shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SLB TELHA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Álvaro Garcia, making the score, 0-3. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
