Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amos Zara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cosimo Baresi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. In the 12th minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Di Fabrizio made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Enrico Cera. Amos Zara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amos Zara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 20th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Baresi in the 22nd minute of play. Amos Zara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amos Zara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano pulled a muscle in his back after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 43 minutes, Alex Niccolai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prato Valera and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Prato Valera got a freekick which was hit by Alex Niccolai. 46 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amos Zara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 52nd minute of play forced Prato Valera's goalkeeper Amos Zara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Zara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Zara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Baresi in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Prato Valera's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Garrido came free, but Amos Zara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrico Cera kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amos Zara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cosimo Baresi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prato Valera's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Baresi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
